Dreams in Glass

As it is often apparent in my work, I am obsessed with good lighting that makes a statement- I’m crazy about chandeliers, in love with lamps, and sweet on sconces!   Stef and I took a trip to Edison, NJ, to the LEUCOS USA warehouse and headquarters to pick up some gorgeous chandeliers for some of our clients!

Founded in 1962, Leucos is one of the best companies to go to when selecting lighting- whether ornate, hand-blown glass chandeliers to sleek and modern glass  lighting.  With many divisions and styles, you know you’re getting quality craftsmanship and the best technology-not to mention some serious style.  All of the products are hand-made in Italy by master glass-blowers in Murano.

One of my favorite collections is the Andromeda, which is inspired by the sleek sensuality of plant life.  Below is a photo we took at the warehouse of some of the flower and leaf details of the chandelier for our client!

One of the coolest pieces we saw was the “glo” collection:  A giant, illuminated drop of glass (5 feet tall approx).  You can even purchase a glass droplet for the floor underneath it!

Here are some other fun and funky modern designs we loved:

All of these lamps and bulbs come in a variety of color options!

It’s always a great experience to visit the warehouse and get excited for all these new lighting designs- and to see our favorite rep, Josie!

Have a wonderful weekend!  Here is the link to the Leucos company store (and one of the most outlandish chandeliers I’ve ever seen!)
