Meet the new G team!

We have some exciting developments here at Decor by Guillaume Gentet, including some fresh faces.  Meet my staff, who work hard to make fabulous seem so effortless!  Here is a video short I made last week to promote the company and our work:

My right-hand man!

John is my Main Design Assistant.  He’s responsible for all the office operations, ordering, scouting for new great finds, and an expert in all things textile!  He studied architecture at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and is a recent NYC-transplant.  Before moving here, he worked for several years for a multi-line trade showroom John Brooks, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ.  He is knowledgable in several high-end product lines such as Holly Hunt, Donghia, Rose Tarlow, and ClarenceHouse, to name a few.  He has three dogs that he loves to take to the dog park!

oh, Stef!

Stef is my go-to gal for artistic production.   She assists me in faux-finish work, eglomise, painting, and gilding.  She studied fine art and painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has had a few gallery shows of her own in Chicago, NYC, and Santa Fe.

Brendan is my freelance-assistant.  He is not only handy with a paintbrush and tools- he’s also an artist.  He helps Stef with large faux finish and gilding projects, and often creates computer graphics and designs on photoshop.  He obtained a degree in Media Studies from Wheaton College in Illinois, and has since worked as a freelancer in advertising, film, and graphic design.

That’s the G Team- Hopefully we can do some great work for you and meet in person!
